Monday, June 1: Churches on Mission this Summer

Pray for the many church mission trips taking place this month. Pray that God’s Word in audio would be shared generously, bringing eternal fruit in the hearts of those hearing about Jesus for the very first time, and in the lives of those bringing the Good News (Colossians 1:9-10).

Tuesday, June 2: Recording God’s Word in Eloxochitlan

Pray with Latin America Directors Jim and Jamie Loker for the recording of Psalms, recently translated into Eloxochitlan. Praise the Lord for the Mazatec believers' enthusiasm in making these passages available in audio. The whole church wants to participate in the recording! Pray for the logistics of involving so many voices.

 

Wednesday, June 3: Bible Storytelling in Immigrant Communities

Praise God for a recent opportunity for ASM Bible Engagement Director Tara Rye to connect with a team serving local refugees from a least-reached people group. Pray that the relationships and plans formed during this training would continue to grow and lead many people to hear God’s Word in their own language.

Thursday, June 4: Trainings with Prison Chaplains

Pray for the 20 prison chaplains in Sub-Saharan Africa trained last month by ASM Gospel Partners D* and H* and their team on Biblical foundations, trauma healing, leadership, and effectively using audio Bibles in oral communities. Pray for this training to bear much fruit as chaplains return to the prisons and minister to inmates. 

 

Friday, June 5: Audio Bible Distributions Worldwide

Praise God for more than 20,000 audio Bibles already distributed this year! We give thanks for open doors and growing partnerships all over the world. We are already hearing encouraging stories of what God is doing through these 20,000 audio Bibles. Pray for continued provision and guidance as we send out many more.

Saturday, June 6: Health for Traveling Recordists

Praise the Lord for the diligent efforts of Lupe and Jemima, ASM Recordists in Mexico, who spent a month dubbing “Deditos” finger puppet Bible story videos in several languages. Pray for relief with ongoing health issues, often accentuated by the long hours, dietary changes, and varied sleep schedules of recording ministry.

 

Sunday, June 7: More Workers in Bible Translation 

Pray for the many languages that do not yet have a Bible translation and recording available. Pray that God would raise up faithful laborers who are skilled in Bible translation work so that all may have the opportunity to hear God's Word in their own heart languages.
