Monday, June 15: Leadership in Sharing God’s Word

Pray for ASM Executive Director Naomi Frizzell, as she leads the Team in growing in personal devotion to God, increasing love for His Word, and a commitment to generously sharing the Gospel (Hebrews 10:22-24). 

Tuesday, June 16: Cultivating Prayer like Jesus

Pray for ASM Bible Engagement Director Tara Rye as she trains a group of leaders in Asia through a series of seven moments when Jesus prayed. In a place where openly studying God’s Word is difficult, prayer is a vital lifeline. Ask God to encourage and strengthen these leaders as they grow in faith together.

 

Wednesday, June 17: Mexico Recordings

Pray for the successful recording of the New Testament in Chinantec of Ojitlan and for various books of the New Testament being recorded in another Nahuatl variant, Nahuatl of Morelos. Pray also for the preparation of the script for a multi-voice recording of the New Testament next month in Chichicapam Zapotec.

Thursday, June 18: Compassionate Care Team

Pray for ASM Gospel Partner Dara Vanden Bosch and the Compassionate Care Team as they provide palliative care to patients experiencing long-term illness and pain in Mozambique. Ask God to encourage the team as they bring comfort, dignity, and hope.

 

Friday, June 19: Gospel Workers to Answer the Call

Pray for God to reveal in the hearts of His people whom He will send to answer His call, as in Isaiah 6:8: “'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?' Then I said, 'Here I am! Send me.’" 

Saturday, June 20: World Refugee Day

Pray for the 43 million refugees in the world who have been forcibly removed from their homes. Pray for ASM and Gospel Partners in East Africa and Greater South Asia ministering to refugees and sharing God’s Word in audio. On World Refugee Day, praise the Lord for the hospitality of these Partners (Hebrews 13:2), and pray that God’s Light will shine brightly through them.

 

Sunday, June 21:  Father’s Day

Praise our Father in Heaven for the human fathers, and those who love us like fathers, that He provides. Pray these men will live righteous and blameless lives (Proverbs 20:7), so that their children too will follow Jesus.
